Inviting people

People get access to a machine by invitation — never by guessing from Windows usernames.

Sending an invitation

From a resource’s account list (or Resource Users), choose the Windows account and invite the person by email. Dynacop creates their identity, prepares their access, and emails them a one-time enrollment link (valid for 7 days).

If the person is already enrolled (they exist in your workspace with a working authenticator), no re-enrollment happens — they simply receive an “access granted” notice and can sign in right away.

What the person does

The enrollment page requires no panel account and no password:

1. Open the link from the email.
2. Install any standard authenticator app if they don’t have one (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy…).
3. Scan the QR code.
4. Enter the code shown by the app to confirm.

Done — from now on, their code works at the Windows sign-in screen for every access they hold.

Good to know

• One authenticator per person, everywhere. The same enrollment covers the panel and every machine they’re given access to later. New access to an enrolled person needs no new enrollment.
• Enrollment only happens through the verified link. There is no self-enrollment at the Windows lock screen and no auto-provisioning of unknown users.
• Invitations expire after 7 days; just send a new one if needed.
• The person appears as “awaiting setup” in the panel until they complete enrollment (denial reason: enrollment incomplete).
